I've been busy painting....more Barn Quilts!
Hanging them diagonally gives a completely different look!
I've decided to photograph them both ways so folks could see the versatility in each pattern.
All of these are listed in my eBay store & my Etsy shop.
I'll also be selling some in my new booth at Georgia North Antique Mall soon!
Once I get everything set up & staged, I'll share some photos!
Which Barn Quilt is your favorite????

Country Stars & Stripes was a fun one to paint, for sure!
DeleteI'll be joining your next party, too!
What are these barn quilts painted on?
ReplyDeleteAnd what type of paint is used?
I use outdoor 1/4" wood and LOTS of coats of Behr Premium outdoor paint after I have primed the wood. I finish with 3 coats of a clear UV protecting outdoor sealer. The squares can be hung inside or out!
DeleteLoving your barn quilts. I am an Americana girl so Stars and Stripes does it for me. They really do look quite different when hung differently.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Jann

I was so glad to find your site now that I've finished four barn quilts for the Monterey County Fair (Central California) and wondered what to put on the Behr paint to protect them. I did one just for fun.....a barn with a quilt on it, and my others are Sunbonnet Sue, Overall Sam, and Cranberry Star. My grand daughter (16) did a Lavender Star. Love it!
