The BarnQuiltStore Is OPEN! Barn Quilts For Sale!!!!!!

The BarnQuiltStore is open & ready to sell my hand painted barn quilts, wooden signs, and other fun stuff!
I'm SOOO excited!!!!
There is still a little 'tweaking' left to do but I couldn't wait to share this!!
Now, I need to get busy & paint more barn quilts!
All of my barn quilts are 2'x2', perfect for displaying on your garage, shed, front porch or even in your home.
They aren't just for "barns" anymore!!!
With the holidays coming up (only a bit over 13 weeks before Christmas!!!!!), I'm hoping that some of you will choose a barn quilt as a unique gift.
I'm also selling on eBay & Etsy for now but hope that my online store takes off on it's own. In case you don't know about the history of Barn Quilts, I made up this short version to send out with my quilt squares.
For more information, and to check out the Barn Quilt Trails in your area, just GOOGLE Barn Quilts.
You'll be amazed at the history and all the places you can see these works of art.
My daughter and I are planning a trip to Iowa in November and are including a trip on the Iowa Barn Quilt Trail while we are there.
Feel free to 'splash' my link anywhere you think would be a good place to help me advertise...ok???!
My URL is www.barnquiltstore.com.
Please stop by my website & let me know what you think!
I love hearing from you!

The Yellow Daisy Festival

Thursday, my friend Fay & I headed towards Atlanta for the Yellow Daisy Festival.
Celebrating its 44th year, Stone Mountain Park’s Yellow Daisy Festival is one of America’s favorite and most well-known arts & crafts festivals. Featuring more than 400 artists from all over the country, the Yellow Daisy Festival is held each year in the month of September to celebrate the blooming of the Confederate Yellow Daisy.  (The daisy can be seen in its natural environment on hiking trails on the mountain).
We spent the day enjoying all the arts, crafts, and FOOD!
I took lots of photos of the goodies that were for sale.
These folks have been here for years & years.
They sell fresh ground grits!

Rick Heard from Murfreesboro,TN makes the neatest treasures from recycled serving pieces.  Some were made into waterfalls, wind chimes, and even turtles!
One of my FAVORITE artists is Kathleen Green.
I personally own over 10 of her pictures.
She graciously agreed to pose by this huge painting of a cow...isn't it awesome!
It would look perfect in an office at Chic-Fil-A's corporate headquarters!!

We always have to stop & taste the delicious drinks at the Perky Moose....yum!!!
Tastes good & the packaging is so cute!

The rest are random photos of  booths at the festival!
So much eye candy...we wanted to take everything home with us!!
Hilarious sayings!

Bird Houses

Aren't they pretty??

Flags made from boards

Lots of GOOD stuff

Christmas decor

Happy Fall Y'all

Art on windows!

Flip Flops

Loved this re-purposing!!

So clever!

A chicken planter made from a tire.

A flower garden

Cute owl blackboard...love it!!

See the camper??

Planter made from tree bark.

Beautiful pottery!

More lovelies!!
As you can tell, the Yellow Daisy Festival is a must see yearly festival!
It's the same weekend each September...you really have to experience it to believe it!
Have you been to the Yellow Daisy Festival at Stone Mountain Park, GA??

Where's your favorite fall festival??

There's a New BARN QUILT in Town!

A new Barn Quilt has been hung outside the front door at Georgia North Antique Mall in Adairsville, GA.

The building that houses the Antique Mall was a chenille factory long ago.  The exterior isn't real pretty but the inside has tin ceilings, old wooden floors, and lots of character.  I donated the quilt to help spruce up the outside.  Maybe someone will see it & add it to the Georgia Quilt Trail?!!??  The town of Adairsville is on the National Historic Register and the Antique Mall sits on Dixie Highway (US Highway 41).

While I was there, I decorated a wall I rent with all things Fall!!  It may be a bit early but I'm OVER this hot weather here in GA & ready for some cooler autumn breezes to blow my way.  I was busy painting signs last weekend so I thought I'd put them out.

See the cute prim pumpkins I made??  They're made out of 2x4s!!

I got the tutorial from Today's Fabulous Finds & they were so easy!!  Stop over & check out her directions & photos!  Perfect for Fall Craft Shows!

These are pics of my booth at the mall.  I need to do more 'fluffing' but it's been sooooo hot here & the Mall doesn't have air conditioning...whew!  Just maintaining the booth is all I can do until the weather breaks.

As you can see, I sell my Barn Quilts there too!   Speaking of that, I'm in the process of setting up The BarnQuiltStore, an online shop where folks can buy my barn quilts & signs.  More about that later when I get it finished......

The next photos are of my friend's booth at the Mall.  She & her husband run the Mall for the owners.  They have several booths & do such a great job!

Stop in to the Georgia North Antique Mall if you are ever in our area!  The store is open 7 days a week, 10am-5pm, Mon-Sat and 1pm-5pm Sun.  And, if you're hungry, there's the BEST BBQ ever right down the street at Character's BBQ!
M-m-m-m-m-m!!!!

Where's your favorite place to shop for treasures???

4 New Barn Quilts!

I've been busy painting....more Barn Quilts!

Hanging them diagonally gives a completely different look!

I've decided to photograph them both ways so folks could see the versatility in each pattern.

All of these are listed in my eBay store & my Etsy shop.
I'll also be selling some in my new booth at Georgia North Antique Mall soon!
Once I get everything set up & staged, I'll share some photos!

Which Barn Quilt is your favorite????
